EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP – PARTNER MIGRATION

□ Statement outlining the history of your relationship
Please include information such as how you met your sponsor, how the relationship developed, details of any periods of cohabitation, details on any lengthy periods of separation and what plans you have for the future.
□ Documentary proof of the relationship
Completed statutory declaration(s)/statement(s) from your family members and / or friends attesting to the length and genuineness of your relationship.
□ Evidence of public recognition of you and your sponsor as husband and wife
□ Evidence of shared accommodation, i.e. joint ownership of housing, joint leases, joint household expenses, e.g. electricity/telephone bills (please note that if you change your address you will be required to provide fresh evidence of your joint living arrangements with your spouse).
□ Certified copies of birth certificates for any children from your relationship with your sponsor.
□ Evidence of sharing income, financial assets and liabilities, including evidence of joint transactions over a period of time.
□ Evidence of your declaration of your relationship to other government bodies and commercial / public institutions or authorities and their acceptance of your declarations
□ Term of your will(s), if they exist.
□ Evidence of the use of one surname - this may include evidence of name change by deed poll.
□ Evidence of official correspondence addressed to you and your spouse jointly or individually at your stated common address.
□ Letters (and envelopes) and record of telephone communication between you and your sponsor during any separation.
□ Photographs of you and your sponsor which provide evidence that you have celebrated events together and have shared interests and activities regularly over a period of time.
NOTE
You are not required to provide all of the above but a substantial amount of documentary evidence is required.
