2014 Victorian State Election

The Victorian State Election will be held on Saturday, 29 November 2014. To enrol, check or update your voting details, please visit www.vec.vic.gov.au.

There are two ways to vote:

In Person

Open from Wednesday, 19 November to Friday, 28 November 2014.

Closed on Saturday, 22 November and Sunday, 23 November 2014.

Opening hours: 9:00am - 12:00noon and 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

The early voting centre will NOT be opened on Election Day, 29 November 2014.

Postal Vote

You can download a postal vote application form from the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) website. The Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur can provide printed postal vote applications to those who are unable to access the internet. Complete the Postal Vote Application and return to VEC or the Australian High Commission by post, fax or scan and email.

Once your application is received, your ballot pack will be mailed to you after Monday, 17 November, once the candidates have been nominated.

Your completed ballot papers must be mailed back to the VEC postmarked before 6:00pm (Victorian time) on Election Day, Saturday, 29 November 2014. Alternatively, they can be delivered by hand to the Australian High Commission, Kuala Lumpur before 4:00pm on Friday, 28 November 2014.
